
1/9/2026 - Howell Public Schools invites families with children ages three to five to attend Pathways to Future Ready, an early education information night designed to help families learn about the district’s early learning options before registration opens. for the 2026-2027 school year.
The event will take place on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., at the Rod Bushey Performing Arts Center, located at 1200 W. Grand River, Howell, MI.
Pathways to Future Ready will bring all of Howell Public Schools’ early learning programs together in one place to provide families with clear, helpful information as they begin planning their child’s educational journey. Families will learn about the following programs at the event:
- Three-Year-Old Preschool (tuition-based)
- Pre-K for All (free four-year-old preschool through the Great Start Readiness Program)
- Begindergarten (Young 5s)
- Kindergarten
- Academia Bilingüe, the district’s Spanish Immersion program at Three Fires Elementary
At Pathways to Future Ready, families will:
Explore the district’s early learning pathways
- Understand kindergarten readiness and program differences
- Learn about enrollment timelines and processes
- Have the opportunity to ask questions and connect with program and school leadership
The goal of Pathways to Future Ready is to ensure families have the information they need to make informed decisions when registering their child.
Pathways to Future Ready is ideal for:
- Families with children ages 3–5
- Parents exploring preschool, begindergarten, kindergarten, or Spanish immersion options
- Families new to Howell Public Schools
Choosing the right early learning experience is an important step. Pathways to Future Ready gives families the opportunity to compare programs, ask questions, and feel confident about the pathway that best fits their child.
