The Timberwolf Times - May 30, 2025

#PackPride

Three Fires Families,

The past two weeks have been packed with exciting events—and they would not have been possible without you. Your support as parents and families means the world to our staff and students. From grilling hot dogs and handing out snow cones to cheering on students at events, thank you for showing up in such a big way.

Field Day was a huge hit! Thank you to Mr. Holmes and Mr. LaRente for planning such a fun-filled day. We were also lucky to have former Timberwolves from the high school come back to volunteer.

The Talent Show was a highlight with over 850 staff and students watching! Our students amazed us with singing, dancing, magic tricks, and more. It was a true celebration of confidence and creativity.

This week, we wrapped up the 3rd and 4th Grade Kickball Tournament, where Ms. Shepard’s class took home the win after a close final against Mrs. Emme’s class. The energy and sportsmanship were incredible—and the family cheering section was even better!

Our 5th graders finished strong with their end-of-year celebration, including graduation, Survivor Games, and today's clap out. Students enjoyed a DJ, bounce slide, and snow cones. What a memorable way to end their time at Three Fires. We’re proud of them and excited to see what’s next.

Another proud moment came during our Unified Champion Schools event, led by our Peer to Peer Core Team. Students in our Cognitively Impaired (CI) classrooms teamed up with their general education “TIES” buddies for games and fun at the track. It was an inspiring celebration of friendship, inclusion, and joy.

As we close the year, we also celebrate the retirement of Ms. Theresa Langell, who is leaving the classroom after 34 years in education. Her dedication, patience, and care have made a lasting impact on so many students. We’ll miss her dearly and wish her the best in retirement.

Thank you again for being such an important part of the Three Fires community. Your involvement, encouragement, and trust are what help make our school a special place. We’re so grateful for the opportunity to learn and grow with your children each day.

Have a fun, safe, and restful summer. We look forward to welcoming you back in August!
