The Timberwolf Times - May 30, 2024

Dear Three Fires Families,

The past two weeks have been incredibly busy and filled with excitement at Three Fires.

On Tuesday, our students had an amazing time at field day. A special thanks to Mr. Holmes and Mr. LaRente for their excellent organization and the wide range of activities available for the students. We were thrilled to have several former Timberwolves and Superstars from the high school come back to assist with running the events.

On May 20, we held our 2nd Annual Talent Show. From singing, dancing, and gymnastics to other unique talents, our student performers showcased their skills and bravery, captivating an audience of over 800 staff and students!

The highly anticipated third and fourth grade kickball tournament concluded with Mrs. Emme’s classroom emerging as the victorious team after an intense final against Ms. Shepard’s students.

Today, our 5th grade students completed their clap out. All staff and students cheered them on as they walked out of the building one last time. One week ago, our 5th-grade students celebrated their elementary graduation with a special ceremony, picnic, and Survivor Games. A group of students from Mrs. Davis’ class emerged as the ultimate survivors, and the day was filled with memorable events, including a DJ, bounce slide, and snow cones. The students had a blast, making this a great tradition for our graduating 5th graders!

Most of these events would not have been possible without parent and family support. Thanks to those of you who were able to be present these past few weeks to grill hot dogs, serve food, monitor bounce house lines, reset games and activities, and cheer on our students. Your support is greatly appreciated.

As the 23/24 school year comes to a close, I want to express my gratitude for your support. On behalf of the entire Three Fires staff, thank you for your commitment to our school family. As summer approaches, I hope you have a chance to relax, rejuvenate, and enjoy precious moments with your loved ones. See you in August!
