May 30, 2021

Dear Three Fires Families,

On behalf of the entire Three Fires Staff, we want to thank you for an amazing school year in a challenging time. It is such an honor to partner with you to help our students achieve their best!  We appreciate your commitment and support of our school family and look forward to next year.  We wish all of you a safe, relaxing, and memorable summer!  We are so proud to be part of the best pack in town!

Begindergarten and Kindergarten Registration and Building Tours

We are setting up building tours for next year's Begindergarten and Kindergarten students.  If you have a child who will be starting Begindergarten or Kindergarten in the fall, please be sure to register them online at HowellSchools.com/kdg.  It is important to register your child now so that you receive communications and updates for next year.

Family Perception Survey

At the end of each school year, we ask families to complete a Family Perception Survey. This survey helps guide our work as a district. This short survey allows us to better understand our strengths and opportunities for improvement.  If you haven’t already done so, please take a few minutes to complete the survey at https://bit.ly/3vZkR9W. This survey will close on Friday, June 11, at 5:00 p.m., and all responses will remain strictly anonymous.

Yearbook

As you’ve probably noticed by now, our yearbook was not put together by Mrs. Tormanen this year. Due to the pandemic, Lifetouch went through a lot of layoffs and staffing changes. It was late March before we were even sure we’d have a yearbook at all, and Lifetouch did the best that they could.  We are thankful to have what we do have, we apologize for any missed students and/or misspellings, and our hope is that everything is back to normal with the yearbook company next year and that Mrs. Tormanen is able to add creative touches and detail that she has in past years.

Mobile Pantry

The Three Fires Family would like to thank all of our volunteers who helped with the Mobile Food Pantry this year.  With your generosity and support we were able to keep the Three Fires Mobile Pantry successfully running.  A special thanks goes to Dan Douglas, Mike Mazurek and Ty Pinkston for setting up, running, and taking down every Mobile Pantry distribution this school year and also helping with Holiday Assistance and Weekend Survival Kits.
