#PackPride
It was wonderful to see so many of you this week during our drive through pick up and for a fun-filled and thoroughly positive 5th grade Clap Out! I would like to thank our dedicated and devoted teachers, secretaries, aides, parapros - you name it - our TFE family was there to help with these culminating activities this week! In my 11 years as a school administrator, I do not recall ever having worked through such a challenging year. I want to thank all of our families for supporting our students, staff and school this year. On behalf of the entire Three Fires Staff, we appreciate your commitment to our school family and look forward to next year. I wish all of you a relaxing, rejuvenating, and restful summer! I hope it's packed with abundant sunshine, s'mores, swimming, and sleeping in! I'm so proud to be part of the best pack in town! - Mr. Starkey
Michigan History Winners
A few of Mrs. Carroll’s students were awarded at the state level for their Michigan History Projects during a YouTube Live Award Ceremony on Saturday, May 9th. The winning groups won overall awards and additional special awards as well. Vivian Hahn received the Elly Peterson Special Award for MI Women's History and took 1st place in the Youth Individual category. Katie Dooley, Allison Ulanowski, and Madeline Wagner won the Best Entry in Michigan History special award and took 3rd place in the youth group exhibit. They all worked so hard! Thanks to Mrs. Caroll for going above and beyond to give these students this experience.
Yearbooks
Our hope is that our yearbooks will arrive by the end of June. Like many businesses, Lifetouch had to close several production plants, which ultimately led to some schools not yet receiving their yearbooks. If they arrive this month we will communicate plans for a drive through pick up at that time. Stay tuned for more updates on yearbooks!

District Registration Office Reopening
The Howell Public Schools Registration Office will reopen on Monday, June 1. The registration office will operate differently for the immediate future. This will include setting appointments to help limit the number of visitors to the office. Additional information will be added to the Registration Office website at HowellSchools.com/Enroll. Families with incoming begindergarten and kindergarten students will receive an email next week regarding submitting the required paperwork needed to complete the registration process.
Meal Kit Distribution Extended Through Monday, June 29
Each Monday in June, the district will hold a meal kit distribution. The distribution will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. in the circle drive on the north side of Howell High School. We will also offer delivery to families who lack transportation to pick up meal kits. To request delivery for Monday, June 8, please visit http://bit.ly/2vZoHa2. All requests for delivery will need to be submitted by 2 p.m. on Sunday. This will allow our Food Service and Transportation Department time to plan for the deliveries.
Howell Public Schools Family Perception Survey
Each year the district conducts a Family Perception Survey. The responses from the survey help the district evaluate its current practices and identify its strengths and weaknesses. If you have not already done so, please take a few minutes to complete the Family Perception Survey by Friday, June 26. You can access the survey at https://forms.gle/cUBDgAziN6pXuV3c8.
District Issued Devices
With the uncertainty around the fall, we are currently asking families who have loaner devices to please hold on to them for the current time. This way, should the need arise to continue remote learning when the new school year begins, we will not need to mobilize a large scale distribution process.
Summer Resources from School Counselors
Our school counselors have updated their resource list to include several summer opportunities. They will continue to update this throughout the summer as they learn of additional opportunities. To can access the resource list at https://bit.ly/2vMY9sr.
